Impulse was formed in 1974, toured until 1986. Now after 21 years, a brand new lineup.

Clark Evans - The original founding member of IMPULSE from Tarkio, Missouri.  Clark toured with the 80s hair band version of IMPULSE for 11 years.  Played drums since age 4, professionally since age 10.  Impulse appeared and toured with; Kiss, Eddie Money, Bob Segar, The Runaways, Foghat, Sammy Hagar, Missouri, Head East, Brownsville Station, Uriah Heep and many more.  Since disbanding the original IMPULSE in 1986, Clark has played with Charles Billingsley, Rachael Lampa, Newsong, Third Day.  Clark also owns the production company EVCO which does the sound for IMPULSE as well as Atlanta based 13 Stories.  Clark is also the IT Director for Tom Jumper Chevrolet in Sandy Springs, Georgia and lives in Norcross, Georgia.

Steve Carroll - While growing up in Oklahoma and Colorado, Steve was playing music since the age of 4.  Fluent on 37 different instruments including woodwinds and brass, Steve is at home on the keyboards.  Later years saw recording contracts and tours with Three Dog Night, The Guess Who, Charlie Daniels and Lynard Skynard.  Steve was the keyboard player on the last Elvis tour and played the final show in Atlanta.  For 5 years Steve worked as a studio musician in Nashville, Tennessee.  8 years ago, Steve founded and is the Pastor of New Freedom Church in Rockmart, Georgia.

Kevin Anderson - Born in Pensacola Florida, but raised in Dallas Texas, Kevin has played guitar since the age of 7.  Recorded and toured with the Country Artist David Stayton and recorded with Gospel Artist Phil Jones.  IMPULSE has had a number of guitar players over the years and Kevin would be placed as one of the best.  He actually received an emergency cell phone call during a performance, answered the call while playing and didn't miss a note.  Kevin is the Production Manager of Praise FM 91.7 of the Emmanuel Broadcasting Network.  Kevin calls Rockmart, Georgia home.

Robert Smith - Recently retired Atlanta Area Air Traffic Controller, so only 6 people can approach him at a time or you will be placed in a holding pattern.  Robert hails from Fayettville, Georgia and has been playing bass guitar since the age of 15.  Robert says he was trying to start a band in early high school and there was no one to play bass, so he decided to learn and take on the job himself.  Robert has extensive experience playing with a multitude of bands since picking up the bass.
